What is program ?
A sets of instructions are known as a program which is write to accomplish a specific task.
Types of programming language
A language which is used for develop a program is known as a programming language such as a machine level language, assembly language, or high level programming language.
Machine level language:
A language which is understood by machine is known as machine level language is also known as a first generation language. There are only two symbols are used such as a 0 and 1 for making any program, It can use only 2 symbol for it is also known as a binary programming language. Machine language is more speed than other language because it does not required translator( translator is a system software which convert one language into machine level language) the machine language is difficult to understand or remember, it is depend on logical structure of Computer Architecture.
A language which is used mnemonic or symbols is known as assembly language. Which is also known as a second generation of middle level language depend on logical architecture of computer. It required translator known as a "assembler" (assembler is a system software which is used to convert assembly language into machine language, it can translate assembly code into binary language or machine code) is slower than machine language difficult to remember all kind of symbol for example add, sub, move are symbols used in assembly language.
High level programming language:
A language which is understood by human is known as high level programming language. It is easy to understand and remember. The high level programming language is slower than machine language it required translator known as the "compiler" (compiler is a system software which convert high level programming language into machine level programming, it compiler whole source code into object code) it is machine independent.c, c++, php, android are some of the example of high level programming language, it also known as a third generation programming language.
